Mark Moreno was born and raised in Houston TX. At an early age, he moved to southeast TX where he completed his high school years. Upon graduating high school in 1989, Mark received scholarships for both music & golf where he attended McNeese University in Southwest LA. Several years later, while pursuing a career in golf out of the Woodlands TX, He realized a call of God for ministry that would set the stage for the rest of his life. Mark became engaged in his local church where he pursued ministry on a voluntary level. In 1996, he moved to Dallas, TX to attend Christ For The Nations Bible College where he first met his wife, Sandy. Upon graduating from CFNI with a degree in Practical Theology, Mark moved to North Carolina to begin ministry in the local church. Mark relocated to Mandeville, LA to assist in planting a church which currently has many thousands attending today. After 2 years, Mark moved to Little Rock, AR to assist New Life Church (led by Rick Bezet) in planting the church which in 2009 was recognized as the fastest growing church in the nation. After much prayer and seeking counsel from overseers, Mark began the preparation of launching “Journey Church” in the Kingwood, TX area. Mark transitioned from Arkansas to assist Bro Larry Stockstill and to be under the leadership, fathering, & mentorship of Bethany World Prayer Center Baton Rouge, LA for the purpose of continuing to build the local church and it’s ministries as well as prepare his steps in launching Journey Church on September 26th 2010..
Mark & his wife Sandy currently reside in Kingwood, TX and have four beautiful children, Brianna, Braylen, Beaux and Bella Grace.
