Mark Moreno

Mark and his wife Sandy have been in ministry for over twelve years. They both graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute out of Dallas, TX with a degree in Practical Theology. Their ministry journey began in North Carolina as youth pastors at a Foursquare Gospel Church. After a couple of years investing in the lives of students, they sensed the Lord transitioning their lives to another season of ministry. They moved to Mandeville, LA to assist in pioneering a church plant as worship leader at Church of The King.

In October of 2001 they moved to Conway, AR to assist in pioneering New Life Church led by Rick Bezet. After a year of serving voluntarily, they became fulltime staff as Associate Pastors responsible for helping to implement and execute the vision and values of New Life Church while overseeing ministries and leadership teams on a weekly basis. These ministries included: Families, Young Professionals, Leadership Development, Overseeing Life Groups, Coaching, Counseling, & assisting with the daily operations of the church and administration.

Their heart and passion is to see people discover their unique design and empower them to lead where God has established them in the local church. New Life Church grew from a handful of people into what it is today – a major influential church in Central Arkansas, with multiple campuses and thousands in regular attendance. In 2007, New Life Church of Arkansas was recognized as one of the fastest growing churches in America.

In the fall of 2007, Mark & Sandy began to sense a stirring in their hearts to plant a life giving church of their own. In the summer of 2009, the Moreno family moved to Baton Rouge, LA with the blessing of Pastor Rick Bezet & NLC to come on staff at Bethany World Prayer Center. Mark & Sandy have been serving as Associate Pastors under the leadership, fathering, & mentorship of Bro. Larry Stockstill for the purpose of continuing to build the local church and it’s ministries as well as prepare their steps in launching their own church plant in the Kingwood, TX area on September 26th 2010.

Mark & Sandy have been happily married for 13 years and have four children, Brianna, Braylen, Beaux, & Bella Grace.
